About Ninth Street Espresso

Ninth Street Espresso is one of the coffee shops listed in Brooklyn, New York. The business is registered at 333 Douglass St, Brooklyn, NY 11217; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, ninthstreetespresso.com.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 130 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great place to work and a good selection of drink and pastry options. The music also gave a nice atmosphere to the place. My only complaint is the table I sat at was sticky, but overall, it was a nice place to sit down at for a few hours.

A warehouse with a bar out back as well. Nice seating. Good place to come to work. Just off Union St. 8.0 - coffee is solid and up to standard. Get the flat white though. I tried their cortado and the beans they have on offer are just not up to standard to carry themselves with so little milk.

This coffee shop has an amazing atmosphere. Whether you seat outside or upstairs the place invites to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. As for food, I only had the croissant and it was okay but nothing special. Yet, the service and the great americano and cappuccino are def worth it!!

Interesting hideaway. Very unassuming entrance. There is a restaurant and brewery on the ground floor and the cafe up the stairs. The cafe also sells the beer. Re: coffee, their lattes are wonderful. Going back!!! Went back. Still enjoyed it. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

Apparently if you come early you get two benefits: the limited supply of pastries and the booth seating reserved for the brewery later in the day. I did not get either, but I did get a plain coffee for $2.50 with soy milk since they don’t have almond. Coffee was good, music was great and there is a ton of space to work where they typically host live music at night. But the nest spot is near the window to daydream while you work.
